![]() ![]() Once done go back to the folder on your desktop and open it. Once done, rename the folder to the mod, so that'll be Now you'll need FileZilla, login to FTP with Filezilla and you'll now see your server, click your server folder and now we can see all the DayZ SA files, drag and drop the folder into the directory, being carefull not to drag it into another folder. In the URL you'll see some numbers '' That's the mod ID so now lets find that folder and copy it to our Desktop. To make this easier we look at the workshop URL for the mod we're installing, in this case Trader mod. Now this isn't as easy as it sounds if you already have 101 mods installed for DayZ SA. Enter that folder and find the Trader mod. Now we need to navigate to this folder, to find it we need to find our workshop folder, most commonly found in Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps Now open Workshop enter into the content folder, inside you'll see a lot of files all numbered, DayZ SA app number is 221100 So this is the folder we'll be finding our mods in. Steam workshop for DayZ SA PC ( Found here)įor this example we'll be using Trader mod by Dr_J0nes ( Trader Mod ) Click subscribe and this will download it to your workshop folder for DayZ SA to use. Keep an eye on the off-topic section.Your FTP Details (These are the details you use to log into your panel, Host name is your FTP IP found on your panel minus the :21) ![]() I feel that this community lost a lot of personality after mod death and after all the clans were disbanded. When we get logs I feel that SA will be -somewhat- manageable. We have had too much at a time which we could not regulate it all, and this has led to trouble. ![]() Purge the community of hackers, kosers, and bad rpers, then re-open. Let's stop and separate out the rocks and find the gems. The fact that SA doesn't have logs combined with the Streamer wave has overloaded us. Close the whitelist down for a month or two. But the good ones should not be punished. We have had a lot of new people and I'd say that a majority not far off from 1/2 have been trouble. Solution? Close the whitelist, get rid of the negative new members, show and give the new ones that are messing up but want to learn help, and allow those new members that have got the hang of it to expand their rp. Now we have so many new people and so much junk is getting in that we can't filter out. Meaning that we have lost a lot of experience community vets and old members that would traditionally have "mentored" or "assisted" new folks and shown them the ropes. We should come up with some things to keep us busy within the community, because honestly, I don't think the player and Standalone situation is stable enough. ![]() I'll say this much: Events, and not having to do with zombies. The kind of thing that will allow people, if they decide to, to re-ignite the old mod fires for a few hours every weekend. Not from staff but from a few community members and a little clan that is petering out. I would prefer not to disclose it here entirely but there are some -big-and I mean big changes coming. Well, as the great Robin Williams once said: We need to come up with some self-picking fruit real quickly. ![]()
